Advanced art class I

In this "open studio" style advance class, students will be taught in a workshop format that is based on assignments from the instructor. This class will help teens discover their creativity, individuality, and unique style. Students will begin to work toward building an original body of work that can be used as a portfolio that will include paintings, drawings, and mixed media art.

Advanced art class Il

The class setting is similar to an art college studio class., teens may create artwork from their own inspirations. The instructor will guide students to reach their greatest potential and help make works of art to be proud of using a variety of techniques and media. While students have had exposure they are still developing their skill. In the advanced art class, yearly curriculum is based on a theme. This theme allows students to make connections between art, academics and their personal world. This course is intended to enhance student's abilities in drawing and painting through experimentation in a variety of media. Students will be encouraged to develop their own personal creative vision, while working on refining their artistic skills through traditional studies.

Materials: All art supplies are provided. Students just need to bring their own art bags for their artworks to take home.
